Batwings Blouse

Blast from the past. The sleeves are so huge I think I can fly!

This is what happens when you learn sewing from the community centre.

You get designs from the 70s.

Surprisingly, a girlfriend says she loves the sleeves.

Maybe it's the colour. It's one of the cheapest cloth I found from Mustafa that cost only $3 for 1.5m. That works out to be $2/m! I think even muslin won't cost that cheap!

Anyway, I am proud of myself! I learnt to sew the sleeves on my own (because I didnt go for lesson yesterday evening!). And I didnt take any shortcuts sewing the bias tape on!

I might do this again with a nice piece of cloth. Just maybe.
